A Message From

Greetings Sorors and Valued Guests!

The members of the Jackson (TN) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. welcome you to our virtual home! It is an honor and pleasure to have you peruse our website. I am humbled and thankful to serve as the 36th President of the Jackson (TN) Alumnae Chapter (JTAC). We are a membership of 138 college-educated and professional women with a desire to continue the legacy of the sorority’s 22 Founders. We are committed to impacting and serving the communities in our service area of Haywood County, Hardeman County, Madison County, and the southern portion of State Route 420 in Gibson County.

The Jackson (TN) Alumnae chapter was chartered on April 25, 1945, by ten courageous women. In the spirit of sisterhood, the chapter continues to follow in the footsteps of the Sorority’s Founders and charter members by implementing programs according to the Sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

Economic Development
Educational Development
International Awareness and Involvement
Physical and Mental Health
Political Awareness and Involvement

We welcome all Deltas (active or inactive) to join us at 10 am (CST) on the first Saturdays of the month from September to June for our chapter meetings. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, please contact me at for additional details about attending our virtual chapter meetings until further notice.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
